Great local meat, produce and cheese are available along with arts and crafts. We love to go Saturday morning to pick up a lovely bouquet of fresh flowers, have breakfast at the bustling restaurant in the center and get all the fixin's for home cooked meals over the weekend.
Great scene Saturday morning for walking around coffee in hand getting ready for a day of tailgating. Grab breakfast or just munch on baked goods while you take in the sights and smells.

10 minute drive- They haven't released their summer schedule yet, however they hold fun events on Saturday morning geared towards younger kids. It has a great atmosphere and is the best place in the area for produce and meat.
This is one of the greatest farmer's markets we've ever been to. The produce that shows up here is second-to-none. You can get fresh flowers, pumpkins, cheese, chicken, soap etc. You may need a couple hours here and if you get hungry, sit down at the diner in the middle of the market. Grab an omelet…

“The Studebaker National Museum is a state-of-the-art, 55,000-square-foot facility that opened in October 2005. The building has three levels and features fully climate-controlled galleries and storage facilities to ensure the best possible care for the Collection. The Studebaker National Museum was designed by South Bend’s own James Childs Architects and features several design elements from Studebaker’s factory buildings.”

“Same owner as Jesus Latin Grill & Tequila Bar and Evil Czech Brewery. I consider it a steak joint more than anything, but they do have salads, chicken and fish that are outstanding as well. They have a unique beer and drink selection including beer from their Micro Brewery Fiddler's is an Irish Public House located in downtown South Bend. The have a lot of live music (almost exclusively Celtic), authentic Irish food and a massive selection of Irish beers and Scotch. It's very cozy and they do a great job of making you feel like you're in an actual Celtic Public House. They also manage to do that while making it family friendly. Not sure you want to keep the kids their until bar closing on a weekend, but they do provide board games, cards and puzzles for fun.”
