Great kid-friendly public pool with a lawn area to lay out your blanket and a shallow end for toddlers to walk around in. There is also a delicious spot for burgers, tiki drinks, and homemade soft-serve down the road called Pool Burger.
Take a dip in our favorite spring -fed pool in West Austin - just a 15 minute drive across town.
If Barton Springs Pool too busy, head across the river: both spring-fed pool and treated pool.

After closing for remodeling, the beloved Austin restaurant reopened in 2013 and is better than ever, with a completely reimagined menu and beautifully remodeled space. The restaurant's legacy is that of simply prepared seasonal cooking, delicious wines, and friendly, professional service.
