While you're staying at Nottley's Riverfront Paradise, you're only about 2 miles from Vogel State Park. Experience Trahlyta Falls (the cover of my guidebook) with a fairly easy walk around the lake. There are also paddle boats, a sandy beach for refreshing swimming, a great gift shop, and our favorite - old fashioned putt putt golf!

Vogel State Park is a 233-acre state park located at the base of Blood Mountain in the Chattahoochee National Forest. It became one of the first two parks in Georgia when it founded a state park system in 1931. It features Hiking on a variety of trails, Non-motorized water sports & swimming, Putt putt golf, Trahlyta Falls waterfall, Fishing, Geocaching, Playground, Bike rentals, and a Mountain view beach!
