The West Village is one of downtown Manhattan's most attractive neighborhoods, known for its landmarked brownstone architecture, angled street layout, arts scene, bohemian roots and historic role in the LGBTQ+ rights movement
Landmarked neighborhood which means less construction, small houses and a lot less noise. The West Village is much more of a residential area with fewer bars and restaurants than the East Village. Quality, not quantity and less chaotic. Great place to visit and live!
The West Village is one of New York's most serene neighborhoods. Stroll down Bleecker Street and experience some of the city's most eclectic and unique shops.
Take the L train to 8th ave and take a walk around the West Village, one of my favorite neighborhoods in the city!
The West Village draws fashionable crowds to its designer boutiques and trendy restaurants. Quaint streets, some still cobblestoned, are lined with Federal-style townhouses and dotted with public squares. The historically arty area also has piano bars, cabarets and theaters.
