The OG of Pepes Pizza. You won't get better Pepes anywhere else. Arguably the best pizza in the country – New Haven style apizza. Zuppardi's is a long time staple of West Haven and the local pizza scene. If you are a pizza connoisseur, the local apizza places are a must.

#2 The original first apizza in the New Haven. Worth the wait. The original coal-fired brick oven from 1925, they have a unique way of making the pies and spinning them on long paddles kitchen is wide-open so you can watch. This is perhaps the most famous pizzeria in the United States. If it is your first time, eat-in to get the true experience of how the apizza comes out hot in all it's "Tomato Pie" glory. Tip: Try and go on an off night or get there before it opens because the lines can get ridiculous.
