The former mansion of James Fenimore Cooper is the showcase of the New York State Historical Association on the shore of Otsego Lake. It offers an outstanding permanent collection as well as rotating exhibitions of American art.

Explore a beautiful old mansion while looking at famous Art exibits which rotate throughout the year. An Indian museum is in the basement of this building. You cannot beat the view out back! Also a hidden treasure for lunch with a view!
