Don't miss the opportunity to tour Brown's historic campus while visiting town -- it's just a short walk away. The campus is filled with beautiful, carefully maintained brick and stone buildings, courtyards, and monuments. I would recommend walking Benefit street to see some of the finest examples…
The Ivy-League campus is gorgeous and expansive. Highly recommend the John Hay library and the John Carter Brown library.
Cultural anchor of Providence's East Side. Shows locally produced theater, concerts, lectures, archives, and more.

“Rhode Island School of Design's museum of art and culture-- a gem of a museum! You really could spend an entire day (or more) here. Admission is free every Sunday (10 am–5 pm) and on the third Thursday evening of each month (5–9 pm).”
