Museum based on the ruin of an old casttle from the 12 century. One of 9 tower from the 14th century is still standing (and are the oldest part of a fortress still standing in Denmark today).

"Danmarks borgcenter" is a historical museum in Vordingborg, which collects and disseminates knowledge about Denmark's approx. 2000 castles and ramparts. The center is located in the middle of the country's largest royal castle ruin, Vordingborg Castle.

Open air museum as well as a most remarkable small museum underground at one of the most important fortifications in the early middle ages. Beatiful place and well told history.
