Baroque manor house built in the 1720s over the arched cellar of 'Bispeborgen' (The Bishop's Castle). Beautiful garden open in the summer!

See the first Oslo where it all began. The ruins tell of the Viking town. Here the ancestors of Elizabeth the second first met when a Danish Princess married a Scottish King in the late 1500s

If you want a medieval feel, here they have a cute cafe where you can sit out in the garden on sunny days. Serve wine/beer and pizza and ice cream.

Oslo Manor House, dating from 1720, though basement from 1200. Theres a restaurant and a beautiful, baroque garden. Guided tours in the area every Wednesday at 18 and Sundays at 13.
