Our favorite place to eat when we go to Acadia National Park. Fresh lobsters, etc. Set in a secluded fishing harbor. Good drinks. Great views.

A vary popular lobster pound right on a working dock. Enjoy a meal and watch a local lobsterman unloading their catch for the day!

Located in the adorable village of Bernard, Thurston's offer's a wonderful place to sit and eat great food, drink local beers or cocktails, all while being on the shore of MDI's busiest working harbors. And its within 6 miles drive of Cregboy Cottage.

Thurston’s lobster pound (9 Thurston Rd, Tremont, ME 04612): When you want to put on the bib for a traditional Maine lobster without the frills. It takes some time to get there, but worth it. This place is on the water and can be chilly, so bring your fleece. Call ahead to make sure they are open if you are visiting outside of the high season (June-August).
