Only two minutes away and very beautiful. A great spot for a quick dip when the tide is in, and keep an eye out for the seals!

The harbour is a short stroll down through the town and has several funky foods stalls with worldwide cuisine. There is a restaurant with a large veranda to sit and take in the views. Also a nice swim spot and if you are lucky you might catch the resident harbour seal!

Walking distance to the harbour, or any of the town beaches

Newquay’s historic harbour is where Newquay got its name – formerly known as Towan Blystra – the town got a new harbour, or ‘quay’ and the name came with it! A busy, friendly little beach which is a favourite with the locals. Being Newquay's smallest beach, the small area of sand gets covered at high tide. The beach is very popular with families due to its safe sheltered bathing and easy access. It has a beach shop, cafe and toilet facilities. Boat trips depart from the beach during the main holiday season.

A busy working harbour that dates back to the 1400's. Now a mix of traditional fishing boats and trips along with the street food on the beach at the boathouse. well worth a wonder down to see a panoramic view of Newquay beaches.
