A mecca for shopping, dinning, nightlife and museums... Check out the Royal Armouries museum for free and see jousting contests at the arena during school holidays. Admire the stunning Victorian architecture of Victoria Quarter, Corn Exchange, Town Hall and Kirkgate Market (and check out the foodhall for Yorkshire Pudding wraps).

About 20/25 mins drive. Great city for shopping. I recommend parking either in Trinity or John Lewis to be close to the city. Or there are trains all the time from Mirfield station

The great thing about Leeds is it's big enough to feel like a proper city, but small enough to explore thoroughly in a few days. To say Leeds folk like a good night out is an understatement - there is a vibrant bar and restaurant scene here, with something for every taste and budget. People come from all over the north of England for a day out round the shops, especially the lovely arcades off the main Briggait pedestrian shopping street right in the heart of town.

A buzzing Yorkshire town with a plethora of bars, restaurants and high-street shops and stores, including: John Lewis, Selfridges and House of Fraser. ‘The Reliance’ is one of our favourite restaurants for an evening meal, but there are many more gems in the centre. Look out for Falafel Guys, a pop up van serving delicious, super-healthy Middle Eastern fast food on the high street!
