A family favorite of ours & undoubtably worth the 1.5 drive to NY. The park offers a variety of trails with breathtaking views, cliffs, & falls.

The 21,106 acre preserve located on the Shawangunk Ridge is 2,000' above sea level, surrounded by rugged, rocky terrain. Waterfalls, lakes, forests, cliffs, ledges & visits, Bike, walk, or hike.:)

The hiking is for all! Easy to navigate trails and beautiful scenery. The Lake is as blue as the sky. Beautiful in all seasons! Great time for everyone!

One of our favorite places in NYS! Minnewaska State Park provides great hiking, climbing, breathtaking views and all around adventure!
