It is sprawling park along the banks of the Mississippi River, near downtown. Minnehaha Falls is over 50 feet and was made famous by Henry Wadsworth Longfellow's poem, "The Song of Hiawatha". It is even worth a visit in the winter, when the falls are frozen.

City treasure is home to the 53-foot-high Minnehaha Falls. The park is one of the oldest and most popular in the city. There is a nice walking trail and other fun things to do include strolling through a pergola garden, dining at the Sea Salt Eatery, and enjoying a live show at the Minnehaha Bandstand.
