Re-opened in 2023 after a long closure. About 10/15 minutes walk from us this is a great local pub for eating and drinking! The menu and the food have improved significantly since they reopened and some of our family had a great Xmas eve meal. A friendly bar with a cosy fire plus the formal dining area. In the summer months the two or three outdoor seating areas are great for catching the sun with a cooling drink whatever the time of day!

Excellent restaurant - booking probably necessary - you can also eat in the bar...simpler menu etc.
