Manila is THE up and coming neighborhood in Medellín. It's populated with cafés and small restaurants, streets with trees and a friendly atmosphere as well as co-working and open spaces. Close to supermarkets and to El Poblado subway station, you are right in the center of the action without the trashy feel of Parque Lleras.

A hidden gem. Less touristy, only 15-minute walk from The Belmonte Penthouse. A good selection of cafes and restaurants. It's not a nightlife option.

Manila is home to several art galleries and the original Calle de la Buena Mesa (“street of good food”). That's a street lined with various small cafés and restaurants, offering Colombian, Peruvian, Argentinan, Mexican, Spanish, Italian, German,... food. The location of Manila is excellent. It's 400 meters to the nearest metro station providing train access to the entire valley. It's 5' walking to Parque Poblado, 10' walking to the nightlife Parque Lleras and Parque Poblado
