Great trails that hug the shore of the river. Expansive grounds surround the enormous Mills Mansion.

Old mansion overlooking the Hudson River. Hiking through the fields, or there's a great hiking trail along the river itself, full of rocky outcroppings.

Beautiful views of the Hudson, walking trails, amazing sledding in the winter. Mansion tours, occasional concerts and fairs. And we got married here :)

“Wilderstein, 30 minutes south of Hudson, is the historic home of FDR’s cousin, and confidante, Margaret (Daisy) Suckley (she gave FDR his dog Fala). Unique site, excellent guided tour, and if you’re interested in FDR, very special.”
