Newquay Zoo takes you on a journey that allows you to get close to over 1,000 of the world's rarest and most endangered animals. They work to breed and care for endangered species all set in 13 acres of beautiful sub-tropical gardens, it is an oasis that allows visitors to release their inner animal and have fun! From the amazing savannahs of Africa to the rainforests of South America, there is lots to discover and enjoy. They recommend you allow at least 3 to 4 hours for your trip to the Zoo as they have lots going on daily, including keeper feeds and talks, activity trails, face painting, children’s play area, Dragon Maze…. and much more! Besides a fun trip to the zoo, when you visit you’ll also be supporting there international effort to save animals through conservation breeding programmes.
