“Phinizy Swamp is an 1100 acre nature park in south Augusta, close to the airport. The park contains wetlands and woodlands, and is home to large variety of animals including hawks, great blue herons, bald eagles, frogs, toads, dragonflies, and if you’re lucky you may see an alligator or two! They hold monthly nature hikes, full moon walks, annual Earth Day celebrations, and art classes.”
