Popular with locals, serves the best pastizzi (traditional pastry filled with cheese or peas) on the island. This coffee shop is located in a square besides a basilica of St George. A must see.

Best Semolina Qassatat in town, and bustling at 9 to 11am. Come for your morning coffee and catch up on the gossip. Quirky gift shops but avoid the church bells at noon. SG Basilica is a must see.

It is right in the middle of the capital, Victoria surrounded by a maze of charming old narrow streets and alleys. It is one of the most important churches in Gozo!

“An isolated plateau between Ġgantija and in-Nadur once supported a large village of the Borġ in-Nadur phase (circa 1500-700 BC). Its huts have all been swept away by weather and agriculture, but a number of grain storage pits can still be seen, one of which was cleared in 1961, producing large numbers of sherds of that phase. Other Bronze Age sherds are common across the whole plateau.”

“The village square centred around the beautiful and imposing church of Gharb. There are also a couple of little band clubs and restaurants in the area.”
