Many of the bars and restaurants, for lack of better term, have become generic things (though nice) that you could find in any other city. This is one of the vestiges of old Austin and full of locals.

A true Austin classic- observe the dancing elderly and the dancing hipsters of Austin happily co-existing here. The women's bathroom is worth a trip from anywhere- thank me later- and the closer it is to Christmas, the more likely this place will be the most festive in town.
