Great area for snorkeling and picnics

A protected swimming area is a hot spot for families, offering little ones a safe place to splash about without the worry of giant waves and undertows. More like a lagoon, this pretty spot boasts its own sheltered beach. Its calm, clear water is primed for snorkeling and close to the playground.

Fantastic place for some safe snorkeling. We and friends have seen Manatee, Turtle, loads of fish, and yes, a shark (a small one and it was actually outside the lagoon but still, be aware) this man made lagoon is suitable for a range of abilities and experiences. There is showers, toilets and changing areas, as well as grills, seating and plenty of free parking.
