A classy little speakeasy that's right across the road, and like stepping back in time - with excellent mixology cocktails, delicious bar snacks, and a Marie Antoinette room out the back that's a must to inspect. It can attract a wait list, so head there early in the week or (or at 5pm to snag a bar seat); otherwise expect a wait. 55 Irving Place. (There's no sign, but the entrance is up the stairs under the awning.
