One of the largest Orthodox churches in the Balkans built in year 1874. The church is located in the city center, beside Faculty of Economy, on the right side of the river Miljacka.

The Cathedral Church of the Nativity of the Theotokos is the largest Serbian Orthodox church in Sarajevo. It was erected at the request of the Orthodox parish of Sarajevo between 1863 and 1868.
