The Neversink General Store is just that, offering a broad array of prepared foods, pizza, deli, groceries, local products, even gas and propane. Insider tip: the store carries the truly addictive cookies baked by Aunt Nenee, the local farmers and harvest market legend (yes, really - we had a niece ask for some as a Christmas present). The store is also a boat washing station for those interested in fishing the nearby Neversink Reservoir. Located at the corner of Shumway Road and Route 55 in Neversink NY. The trip from the farmhouse takes you across the reservoir dam, with scenic views. Chef owned business great fresh meals and sandwiches along with great grocery selection or snacks and drinks selections.

The food here is cooked by an ex NYC cordon bleu chef (!) and it’s simple but delicious, and great at the end of a long day trip or hike.

This market is about a 20 minute drive from our property. It has everything you need from groceries, supplies, alcohol as well as a deli where you can order hot sandwiches, pizza, or BBQ! This is the go-to spot if you just don't feel like cooking and want to grab a bite or if you want to pick up your cooking ingredients for your weekend stay! They carry all of the local favorites as well as popular brands such as West Kill Beer, La Colombe Draft Lattes, and Health-Ade Kombuchas!

We love this place for a quick breakfast sandwich or a nice bite to eat when you don't feel like cooking. On most days they have pot pies and other hearty takeaway containers made by the Chef who is a transplant from New York City. Check out their well-stocked shelves for some nice treats, beers, and cheeses as well as other baked and handmade goods from local makers. I can't leave the shop without trying something new.
