For a lovely woodland walk followed by coffee and delicious cake and snacks at the cafe and a small play area for children.

The falling foss waterfall, can be accessed on foot from the cottage, if you are a strong walker, but also via car. The waterfall is lovely, and the cafe serves great cream scones.

“Popular for photographs, the famous Whalebone Arch marks the start of the west cliff, the beach below was awarded a blue flag in 2019. For those who don't fancy the steep walk down you can use the lift half way along the cliff top or access the beach from Pier Road at the bottom of the whalebone steps. ”

“One of our family favourites. World class mountain biking trails and jump track, walking trails, play parks, concerts, Go Ape. So much choice! Run by the Forestry Commission everything is very well maintained. There's also a bike hire place, visitor centre, picnic areas and cafe. Love Dalby.”
