A well known and great sandwich place, the Ham Shoppe has been around for decades and serves out of this world sandwiches and other simple dishes.

This is a great place to grab sandwiches while driving between Boone and Banner Elk or Grandfather Mountain.

There's no place to eat inside the restaurant, but it is absolutely worth going. They have the world's best sandwiches.

A great sandwich shop, we love stopping here before we go out hiking so we can take lunch with us. It's also located right across the street from the original Mast General, so definitely hop in there as well!
