A place I have driven by my entire life but have been there only a couple of times. The boardwalk is lovely and safe for kids.

This nature center is one of the region’s most well-kept natural secrets. It doesn’t get the foot traffic that many more commercialized attractions in the area do, making it the perfect escape destination for those interested in exploring and learning about the great outdoors.

No admission fees, a great place to jog in the morning or walk through and safely spot wildlife! I've come across large gopher tortoises, burrowing owls, armadillos, and many other wildlife.
