A hands-on museum of the history of the cotton mills in the Augusta area, with a free tour down the canal in an electric powered Petersburg boat. The boat captain regals travelers with stories and history of the canal.
History & Nature Civil War Tour: daily @ 1:30pm Canal Boat Tours available : daily and also available- special Friday Music cruises, and Sunset cruises. Bike and walking trails, & kayaking on the canal.
The Augusta Canal, built in 1845, is the only intact industrial canal in the American South in continuous use.

“Great burger place for some unique burgers you won't find anywhere else. I personally love the plain WBK Burger on a Brioche Bun with Gouda. The second favorite would be the burger with pimento cheese.”
