This looks like a mini ethnic grocery store but it secretly serves the best Chicken Shawarma out there and for super cheap! Get it while its hot, check to make sure they are open before you go. Mostly open on weekdays.

Middle Eastern grocer with delicious house-made pita, hummus, tabouli, falafel and much more. Great for a picnic. They also make inexpensive sandwiches to go. 1 mile south on Lamar.

Awesome cheap falafel, halvah, and Mediterranean/Middle Eastern staples (tahini etc.) you can eat in the shop or buy and take to eat at home. They have a location on Burnett as well, both about the same distance from AirBnB.

Funky mediterranean deli and market that's been around for ever. We particularly like their roast chicken sandwich. You can also purchase limited bakery, grocery and produce items, mostly things that are popular in middle eastern cuisine. We typically call-in our orders, but you can also order for delivery through DoorDash, GrubHub, and Postmates.
