Tours of Parliament only happen when Parliament isn’t sitting, but there’s no other easy way for a proper look around the country’s most interesting building, which I’m lucky to call my office. Not many other functioning democracies have a Queen’s Robing Room. In my opinion, ours shouldn’t either, but it’s certainly worth a look. Get in quick. The place is falling down. We’re not quite sure exactly when, but soon, probably around 2022, the entire place is probably going to shut for at least six years for a massive restoration job that is going to cost £6 billion or more.

This is the place where The Prime Minister along with other ministers debate and pass laws
Guy Fawkes tried to blow it up in 1605. We're rather glad he didn't as it's history goes back to 1252 - I think.
Informative guided and audio tours of the beautiful and ornate parliament building. It's great to see the place in real life, rather than just on the tele!
The UK Parliament is open to visitors year round, Monday to Saturday, to attend debates and committee hearings or to take a tour of one of the world’s most iconic buildings.
No trip to London is complete without a visit to see the iconic parliament building or hear the chimes of Big Ben
