I would drive in and back as far as I could. Park near the water somewhere and stroll around to visit Savvanians of bygone eras.
Take a walk through Savannah's most famous cemetary! The guided tour will entertain you with old Savannah stories, history and legends. A great place for photographers and historians to visit.
A lovely place with rich history. Many tours avaialble but recommend Shannon Scott tours. www.shannonscott.com
Famous, Historic cemetary. Very informative tours, haunted tours available. 5 minutes outside of downtown.
Relaxing stroll with amazing views. And there’s an app for a self guided tour.
This cemetery is a beautiful area sitting on a bluff on the Savannah River. Guided walking tours are a great way to learn the history of the cemetery, very interesting stories!

“The old Velvet Elvis Lounge is the best place to go see anything from a hard core punk show to a bouncing rock-a-billy get down and everything in between. Savannah's favorite music venue, be warned that they do play the music loud! Ear plugs might be good to bring along. ”

“Local and loving it, Sweet Potatoes serves up Southern soul food with a Caribbean twist. The restaurant’s bright and positive vibes make up for its location in a boring part of town. Their banana pudding has been featured on Man vs. Food, and they are one of the few authentic Southern restaurants in town that are vegetarian friendly. ”
