Fun little beach on the York River. Great for swimming. Located right in the historic town.

If you don't want to make the drive to Virginia Beach (roughly a 1 hr 30 min drive), you can make your way to Yorktown Beach! This 2-acre beachfront provides boating, swimming, and fishing fun on the York river. There are cute, cozy shops around the "beach" as well. Plenty of parking and a garage on "the hill" in town within walking distance.
