“Cat Lake: Located approximately 15 minutes north of Squamish is a popular swimming hole called Cat Lake where you'll find access to rope swings, wooden rafts, hiking and biking trails as well as 36 forested walk-in campsites. Take the access road just north of Alice Lake Provincial Park where you’ll find a parking area approximately 3 kilometers east of the Sea to Sky Highway. There is a walk of about one kilometer to reach the campground from the parking area. The area is a busy spot for young campers and can get a bit noisy. If you’re looking for a quieter retreat you may want to visit this particular spot during the week. ”

“This museum is great to walk around in but they also offer an opportunity to travel into the depth of a mine. Loud noises and dark spaces make this appropriate for older kids.”
