The fatherly house of Eleftherios Venizelos (one of the most important Greek politicians) in Halepa of Chania, which constituted his house for more than thirty years, from 1880 to 1910 and later for short periods from 1927 to 1935, today constitutes a Museum under the responsibility of “National Institution of Researches and Studies El. The residence of our great Prime Minister and Politician Eleftherios Venizelos. A nice folklore residence with the whole property and pocessions of our Prime Minister. There you will see the pen which he signed the Lozane Treaty with Kemal Ataturk the President and leader of Turkey back then.
