This is the famous Island Mainau. It is the "Flower Island" and there is also a Butterfly conservatory. It is a main attraction around the Bodensee and highly recommended. You can get to this by driving or you can take the ferry directly to the island directly from Sipplingen or Überlingen. Small Tip: Unfortunately ferry rides are not included with the Bodensee card. You can of course easily walk down to the Sipplingen Landungsplatz (beside the Riva Restaurant) and catch the ferry from there. You can also use the Echt Bodensee Card for a free bus ride to the Überlingen Landungsplatz stop. Then you can take the ferry from there directly to Mainau (then you only pay for the ferry ride and it is actually a nice way to go since it's a great view). Sometimes there are more pickup times with the ferry throughout the day from Überlingen so just check the ferry times online to decide.
