Kronborg is a world-class Renaissance castle. The castle is home to Holger Danske and Hamlet. Visit the castle, which is on UNESCO's World Heritage list. The visit can be combined with a visit to the Maritime Museum of Denmark (MS Museet for Søfart).

Take the train "Kystbanen" to Elsinore (50 minutes) be sure to have a seat on the right side of the train, so you can enjoy the view of Øresund and Sveden all the way up. Visit the well-preserved Kronborg Castle, where Hamlet lived, you know him "to be or not to be". Elsinore is also a lovely provincial town, with many fun houses and they are famous for their HUGE "Brostræde ice cream" they are a whole meal. From Elsinore you can take the ferry to Helsingborg in Sweden, you do not need any pasports, but bring it anyway, the crossing takes 20 minutes and the ferries sails all the time. And then you can brag about that you have also been to Sweden when you get back home.
