The Loon Preservation Committee works to preserve loons and their habitats in New Hampshire through programs of monitoring, research, management, and public education, all fostered by an extensive grassroots network of dedicated members and volunteers. Our displays, exhibits, and award-winning videos introduce visitors to the wonders of New Hampshire's loons and other wildlife. Admission is free, The Center hosts over 7,000 New Hampshire residents and visitors each year.

Located on the Markus Wildlife Sanctuary, the Loon Center offers nature trails, exhibits, videos, and The Loon’s Feather Gift Shop. Admission Free. Open 9-5 Mon – Sat, mid May – July 1; 9-5 every day, July 1 – Columbus Day; 9-5 Thur – Sat, mid October – mid May. From Route 25 in Moultonborough, turn on Blake Road to Lee’s Mills Rd. and follow signs. 40 min drive.
