There are a ton of food vendors under one roof here. It’s a great place to eat different things: bento boxes, oysters, Thai street food, barbecue, tostadas, ramen. Coming here is a very LA thing to do, so we take our out-of-town guests and try to steer them toward foods the city is really known for, like Mexican.

This is both sightseeing and a great food scene. Plus it’s a 100 years old. Take the Historic Angels flight tram ride across the street and visit the Broad museum. Recommend Sticky Rice for Thai food and Sarita’s for Salvadoran Pupusas but most of the places are pretty good. Parking is attached to…
Definitely an experience to go try out all the different foods. If you are there on the weekday, visit eggslut. It gets super crowded on the weekend.
This European-style food hall has been operating on the ground floor of the iconic Homer Laughlin Building since 1917. Even if you’re not there for the food, it’s worth a trip; people from all corners of L.A. mix and mingle among rows of spices, produce and vintage neon signage. Of course, if you’re…
Emporium hosting food vendors & florists, plus game nights, movies & other events, since 1917.

“California's largest book & record store that sells new & used items in a multilevel space adorned with local art. There is a huge mezzanine level (2nd floor) that includes the Labyrinth, a gallery, local art and gift shops. I take every friend that visits to this place and they all love it. If you are into taking photos for Instagram, you would love this place. I usually have a meal at Grand Central Market and then walk here. ”
