Blue Ridge Parkway at Fancy Gap, 80 Mile ViewWe love our long view and the utter silence just a mile off the Parkway. The country road dead-ends another half-mile down, so traffic is rare. Lots of walkable paths and such. The large deck faces South so the morning will come to you. Evenings are fun to watch the dusk cover the Hanging Rock and Pilot Mountain 25 miles across the way as the lights of Mt. Airy twinkle 1,800 feet below. Our very favorite time is when the clouds lay below us like a carpet with the sun above. Why leave?
A great place on Blue Ridge Parkway for a getawayMy place is on Blue Ridge Parkway on mile post 191.4. You’ll love my place because of the location, the ambience, and the views. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, families (with kids), and furry friends (pets). Security Camera; One Camera is pointed at the front door.
