This place is a favorite amongst the locals. Be sure to arrive before 11:30 AM or it will be very crowded. The #1 Italian sub is my favorite, hands down!

The new Pier is about 1.5 miles from the apartment. I highly suggest going at sunset, and walk to the VERY end of the Pier. Then go all the way to the top for a drink at the tiki bar while watching the sunset. 🍹

After 5 pm the $5 entrance fee is waived. If you are looking for a beautiful place to watch a sunset, this is it. It's worth the drive, once inside the park drive to North Beach and wait for the painting in the sky!

Excellent live music nightly, unfortunately it's smokey being attached to a cigar bar but worth it if U can deal with the smoke for awhile.
