If you like Japanese Katsu, get it from here. There are other places on Sawtelle that serve Katsu, but they definitely do the best job.

The 30 minute hike up to the Griffith Observatory is nice with wide paths, and not too steep. You can also drive and park up top if you don't feel like hiking. The views of the city are spectacular.
