Rio Grande Gorge Bridge is one of America's highest and most famous bridges, the Route 64 crossing was completed in 1965. It is a well proportioned cantilever truss with an attractive, curvilinear profile.

It is a beautiful park with large trees, trails, volleyball courts, basketball court, baseball diamond, small children's playground along with a historic cemetery that contains the final resting place of Kit Carson.
