We love visiting this zoo! You get so close to bears and eagles and other amazing animals. The center rescues local animals and rehabilitates them into the wild. They have been building a new facility for the animals that will be walking distance from the cabin.

They have a little nature discovery trail, outdoor play space, and on Saturdays, they offer gold panning for the kids on site. They sell outdoor adventure passes here also which are required for parking at some trails and lake areas.

I Love Candles- We love visiting this little shop in the village and creating our own candles. You pick the shape, scent, and colors that go into your candle. They make great souvenirs and gifts. Plus it's just fun!

Pets
A great little dog park to let your furry one run free. It's right on the lake, with great views. We visit here twice a day with our dog when we are in Big Bear. There are local regulars here every morning. There's a playground just across the street for the kiddos too.
