The Cathedral (Sé) in Faro is located in the heart of the city´s Old Town, in Largo da Sé. You can visit it inside and have an amazing view from Faro downtown and Ria Formosa from the bell tower.

Faro old village arc entrance. Great place to start your tour in old village. It is a historical monument that you can visit and where is located the tourism office.
At the top of it you can see a lot of stork nests! :)

A landmark twin-towered baroque church where you can also visit the behind the church: the 19th-century Capela dos Ossos, built from the bones and skulls of over 1000 monks, Scary!! :)

The Benagil Sea Cave is part of a system of caves that lines Portugal’s southern coast in the Algarve region. This most iconic cave is located just around the corner from a beach in the tiny town of Benagil.

From Vila do Bispo do Aljezur ( 140 km from Faro) but you can keep exploring it, entering South-West Alentejo Natural Park, all the way to Lisbon :)

This trail climbs up and down ravines that almost always open up above sea level - the hanging valleys. In the distant past, each hanging valley was associated with the mouth of a stream, and was created by a rapid retreat of the coastline which was not accompanied by the water’s edge.
Trail starts in Marinha Beach, 60 km from Faro.
6Km (12km two ways)
I really recommend to get there by car or with a tour - get your guide -
From Faro bus station, you can take the number 56 (Aerobus, direction of Lagos) to Lagoa bus station. The journey from Faro alone takes 1 hour and 25 minutes. From Lagoa, you can take a taxi to Marinha Beach around 12 min, where the trail starts.
Have a careful look to the Aerobus 56 schedule...to come back . Not many buses.
