A few steps from our Apartment.
Today it hosts the law Department of the University, once it as a noble family House. It has a beautiful garden and marvellous decorated rooms.

The most beautiful Baroque Palace of the city. Even the british band Coldplay chose it to film one of their music videos (Violet Hill).
You can barely see it from the street, but once inside, you'll know it's worth the visit.
The visits are organized by the funny owner of the Palace, Mr Ruggero, one of the descendents of the Princes of Biscari.

It's a medieval Castle built during the reign of Federico di Svevia. Nowadays it hosts the civic museum as well as interesting temporary art exhibitions.

Do you know there is an underground river flowing under the streets of Catania? It was covered by the lava of Etna in 1669, but it's still there! You can see it flowing under this fountan and inside a cave, which happens to be under a restaurant in Piazza Currò.
