Some of the best sushi in Austin and it's only a 2 minute walk. Reservations are suggested although since it's so close you can always take your chances. It's a splurge but worth it. They also have a fabulous happy hour - which is kid friendly!

If there's one thing we know coming from New York, it's pizza. This is the best that we've tried in town. Quirky decor inside with unreserved seating outside plus a kids play area. Seven minute drive from the guesthouse.
