Hands down best BBQ in town, bring a cooler and some sun screen and get in line as early as possible. It's worth the wait. We consider this a special event and go La Barbecue which is almost as good if we don't have time to wait.

This is our go to BBQ place in Austin. We also love Franklins but most of the time we don't have time for the wait. La Barbecue usually has a shorter line and the BBQ is incredible.

Great swimming hole that is fed by a spring. In the summer there is a line so get there early. There is a small entry fee and you cannot bring food or drinks inside. You can also go swimming for free just below the pool.
