Particulars: Seasonal restrooms, showers and changing rooms. The Old Harbor Life-Saving Station is located at Race Point Beach, and is open seasonally. Directions: Located at the end of Race Point Road, off of Route 6 in Provincetown. Safety: Use caution on bike trails, watch out for ticks and poison ivy, use caution when walking and do not damage beach grass. Shorebirds: Protected shorebirs typically nest and stage on this beach from late spring to fall. Note and follow any posted pedestrian or pet closures. Prominent Features Nearby: The Province Lands Visitor Center, open from May through October is located neary. The Provincetown town center and Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum are nearby.

Ptown loves all dogs – ours and our visitors, and treats them well with lots of love and yes, spoiling them with delicious treats and new coat for cold winter. Dog owners/walkers are required to clean up after their animal immediately and dispose of the waste in a waste container. Bags are provided at many locations throughout the town. Off-leash times for town beaches: Memorial Day through November 1st, 6am to 9am and 6pm to 9pm and November 2 through the day before Memorial Day, 6am to 9pm.
