Walk down for a swim, or watch the surfers. Use the BBQ facilities and have a picnic in the amphitheatre or grassed area. Great collection of restaurants, cafes and bars overlooking the ocean.

Is less busy than Scarborough beach. Grab a coffee from the Wild Fig and sit on the grass or beach. Have a burger at Grill'd or a meal at the Wild Fig cafe while you look out at the ocean.

Floreat Beach
A lovely beach with a nice cafe on the water.
Any trip to Perth sin't complete without a trip to Freo. It feels like another city within Perth. You can walk around the coffee strip and shopping precinct, check out MANY, drive down to South Fremantle where there are great cafes, or stop off at North Freo/ Leighton Beach.

We go to Leederville often. There are great shops, relaxed dining and bars. Definitely worth a visit.

Northbridge used to be seedy but now it's a place we regularly go. Great eateries include Young Love Mess Hall, Bivouac, Lucky Chan's Noodle Laundry, The Hummus Club. There is also great shopping along William Street to check out in the day.

Parks & Nature
Cottesloe is an iconic beach and I prefer it to Scarborough beach. Il Lido is a great restaurant on the Cottesloe strip.
